EverSafe uses AES-256-GCM encryption with keys derived from your password using Argon2id. Your files are encrypted on your device before being uploaded, and we never have access to your encryption key. This is called zero-knowledge encryption.

Because we use zero-knowledge encryption, we cannot recover your files without your password. We strongly recommend storing your password in a secure password manager and keeping a backup in a safe place.

Yes! Depending on your plan, you can backup multiple Windows computers. All devices share your storage quota, and you can manage them from your online dashboard.

You can restore files directly from the EverSafe desktop app. Browse your backups by date using the calendar view, select the files or folders you want, and restore them to any location. You can also restore previous versions of files.
